I liked the simple inclusion and explanation of the types of info tropes used in the management to septic shock as well as the relevance of SvO2.
Clear and well-organized. Nice balance of evidence-based medicine and clinical scenarios.
Good. Just questioning the comment of Normal Saline always being the best remedy for low volume. In hemorrhagic shock consider the lethal triad and that NS has a ph of approx. 5.5 whereas LR has a ph of 6.5. This may be negligible in the hospital setting but merits consideration in the pre hospital setting.
I am currently in nursing school and cannot even tell you how much of an upper hand I feel I get with these! These are great for simulations because these videos not only tell you what to do but the rationale behind it. Is it thorough in what a nurse would do? Not always, but I promise these videos are worth every penny! If there are added nursing interventions, you will quickly see why you need to be doing it a certain way and it will stick to your head better!
Excellent!
