I would give this a 4.5, and not a 5 because I want more! I so wish these were 30 minute lectures so I can learn more. I wish you guys would work with ONS and do their cert course, maybe it’d be easier for me to understand.
MUAATH ALQAHTANI, MD
Good but the tables are too busy.

I really liked the first part which gives you a good overview of the liver function tests, afterwards it gets a little messy, but that’s maybe normal for such a complicated topic. Afterall it’s so much information in such a short lecture, but it’s totally worthwhile!
Excellent presentation for all. As a pharmacist I found it very inspiring and refreshing and very easy to follow , I grateful to you and all MedCram team. Thank you so much for making excellent lectures for free! Keep the Excellent work Up

Great mini-course, thanks! Would be useful if the first principles behind each test were explained to understand how/why they work or are used (you mentioned briefly that AP was an enzyme but stopped there). Also could have done with some more detail on clinical signs/symptoms/presentation.
PHILOMENA MEYER, RN

The liver function tests were explained so well! The only area of improvement I can identify is possibly taking it one step further by discussing how a hepatic disease (e.g. hepatitis) can eventually also result in a cholestatic liver disease (e.g. due to hepatocyte death results in necrosis and oedema, causing swelling closed of bile ducts, etc, etc). In simpler terms, if all the liver functions are deranged, having to find what the original pathology was, and then what the secondary pathologies were. Thanks for the awesome videos!
VISH SHAN (Medical Student)
OMER USLU (Medical Student)
So clear and easy to understand. Thanks for these video lectures
Loved the explanation of the liver and the labs in the first 2 segments. I am in pediatrics so I didn't particularly find the last 2 segments to be helpful. Would like to see a segment on pediatric liver disease.
Clarifies liver anatomy/function and the LFTs
Provided a clear understanding of how the liver functions along with a better understanding of the labs involved in evaluating the function of the liver
made things much clearer
DR. KIRAN SANDHU
