Very helpfull vinformation
The first and third lectures were extremely clear. The second lecture could be improved with better definitions of what is being graphed (what the axes are). I think it would help if you explained what two completely separate bell curves would mean, what two completely congruent bell curves mean and then lead into the explanation of overlapping curves. In terms of prevalence, the concepts here explain why racial profiling by police departments does not work. Even if one assumes that the criminal justice system works perfectly, which it does not, given the low prevalence of criminality in the population, using a commonly distributed trait (like being black or brown) would have no positive predictive value for detecting criminality.
good information
Great Review!
Great stuff. Still not second nature but makes a lot more sense
Somewhat confusing
