    JEFFREY BRANT, MD

As an ophthalmologist who hasn't managed a patient on a respirator since his days as an internal medicine intern 38 years ago, I decided to take this course in view of the current COVID-19 situation. My knowledge in ventilators may come in handy in the event of a severe shortage of critical care physicians and respiratory therapists. This course was easy to follow and gave me an excellent introduction to mechanical ventilation with up to date guidelines for ventilating patients with ARDS and COPD. I found the material fascinating and engaging. Even though this is way out of my field of expertise and hopefully the situation won't get severe enough to the point of calling up older ophthalmologists to manage patients in an ICU on a ventilator, I found learning about this subject was highly enlightening and actually enjoyable. Thanks for making this course available to us at no cost during these uncertain times!

    ROMINA MAHMOUDI, MD

Hi There, it's Romina, a medical intern from Iran;here in Iran the educational system is not very good, at the same time due to the political situation in the country it's almost impossible for us to pay for online courses and learn from them;so I believe by now you have guessed that how much I enjoyed and learnt from your absolutely amazing, FREE course. THANK YOU

    ANTHONY KNOTT, MD

Excellent - I'm a Family Practice doc volunteering in the NYC Health and Hospitals system right now. My job description is helping monitor vents used in the covid crisis outside the ICU on floors where nurses have less training. I managed my own patients in the ICU with help of an ICU attending in a small community hospital for years but this course was EXACTLY what I needed. Thanks.

    NATHAN ALLEN, MD

Excellent course on vent and BIPAP management. Working in primary care, I have not managed a vent since residency but suspect this will soon be necessary again with the COVID19 outbreak. I greatly appreciate your willingness to look out for your fellow humans. Thanks.

    JUAN ARIEL JARA GUERRERO, MD

Greetings¡¡ I have recorded and learned the Clinic and the basic modes of Ventilation; this course is needed and urgent to applied in the fight against COVID-19 and prevents, with the Insulin therapy and metabolism control the mortality. Reducing the most Lung alveolar Inflammation -cytokine.storm.dependence, decreasing the mortality rate and morbidity complications, as pneumonia associate to a ventilator. THANK SO MUCH Since Peru Juan Ariel Jara Guerrero C.M.Madrid 292960478 C.M.Perú 020288

informative and engaging. Practical information linking the disease process and why you make the changes needed. (Emergency Clinical Nurse)

    YNSNARDY HURTADO, MD

Outstanding! If you could include some bibliography to deepen my knowledge I would apprecciate very much

    UMAR RATHER, Pharmacist

This course is very useful especially for those people who don't have previous knowledge about ventilators and modes of ventilation. It will prove very helpful to choose correct mode of ventilation for patients having different respiratory problems.I am very much satisfied with this course.Thankyou very much for this noble cause.

    NIKOLA IVANOV, MD

Great course, thank you for sharing this. I would however have great interest in seeing more detalied descirption of covid 19 ards ventilation strategies, both invasive and non invasive, specialy in terms of differences in the approach regarding recruiting, knowing that viral ards does not have the same reduction in complience as a typical ARDS does. Also it would be great to see a course on APRV and invasive BIPAP modes of ventilation. Again you are doing a great work in clarifying the basics of mechanical ventilation which is i am sure very helplful to all. Thank you.

    LISA MORRISON, PT

thank you so much for offering this. I appreciate the review. I shared it with our department managers and other staff at our hospital.
