Lung Ultrasound Made Easy - Point of Care Technique Online

TAKE YOUR CLINICAL SKILLS TO THE NEXT LEVEL - FAST & ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS AT THE BEDSIDE THAT "PRACTICALLY FEELS LIKE CHEATING."

Lung Ultrasound (LUS) is becoming a critical skill for clinicians of all levels.  LUS has proven to be useful in a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions.  As a result, It is rapidly gaining popularity across many different medical specialties.

Lung Ultrasound is relatively easy to learn, quick to perform at the bedside, and outperforms the accuracy of a chest X-ray for most lung conditions…

In fact, LUS rivals the accuracy of CT imaging for acute respiratory failure - without the radiation.  Therefore, LUS can safely be utilized in all patient populations (including pediatrics and pregnancy), both inpatient and outpatient.

    ALAN CASHELL, MD

This course has been very helpful. It is clearly presented and well illustrated. I would only comment that the nomenclature regarding the deep femoral veins is incorrect. There is no such thing as the superficial femoral vein or the common femoral vein. There is the femoral vein and there is the deep femoral vein or profunda femoris vein. It is confusing to say that the superficial femoral vein is a deep vein on a duplex Doppler report because a thrombus in the femoral vein that is called the superficial femoral vein may not trigger anticoagulation or filter placement that would otherwise be appropriate.

    JAKE MANNING, MD

Felt very comprehensive and well explained. Only thing I wish they had added was a lecture actively going through the exam on a person.

    MAREEN VALERIE ACKERS, MD

A very informative and well structured course!!! Thank you very much!!!

    DAVID MOBLEY, NP

GOOD OUTLINE SO FAR. EXCELLENT QUIZ.

    MARY FRAN KING, MD

I enjoyed the course very much. I learned a lot of information. The class kept my attention.

    KARINA ABRAHAM

    great learning tool!

    SHYAMAL MAITY, MD

Very useful algorithm for management of pt in covid ICU and very lucid explanation. like to have 2D ECHO programme in the course in the same manner.

    JACEK PROKOPOWICZ, MD

Easy to understand. Logical. can diagnose pathology. Up to date

    LAURA KINKEY

    GREAT COURSE

    DAVID NEMETH, MD

Lung ultrasound is often not well explained. Relatively new area with a significant number of signs to understand. This was a very clear explanation of the signs and their significance. The explanation of lung US being predominantly the consequence of artifact was an important point as I hadn't considered the signs in this way before.
