JAVEED AHMED, MD
Very helpful, and quite inightful. The laboratory diagnosis is probbaly different to what is done in UK. We rely on measles IgM- saliva and blood + PCR. I also say, when i teach, where there is no faciitly for measles IgM, if the rash onset is less than 6 days old, do an IgG. if it is positive, it may not be measles- kind of a surrogate test . Many thanks for teaching Best Regards Javeed Ahmed
